Building on our strong faculty and low student-to-teacher ratio, St.
Ignatius is able to offer a rich and challenging college preparatory
curriculum. Even in our core (required)
courses we introduce material in English, Biology, Math, and Chemistry at the
college or AP (advanced placement) level. Our electives are also designed to comply with the requirements of the
IB (International Baccalaureate) program which leads to a qualification that is
widely recognized by the world’s leading universities. Our core courses are shown in the following

Due to St. Ignatius'
small size, all listed courses will be taught over four years, but not
necessarily in the sequence shown. Students may elect to substitute test results for a prerequisite course
where judged appropriate by the relevant faculty member(s). Also, the content and sequence of classes may
vary to accommodate the individual needs of students such as those who transfer
in at grades 10-12 and those who are able to progress at a more rapid pace. |
